Who does it?

Our Private GP services are delivered by Dr. Mahnaz Alsharif, a highly experienced General Practitioner with extensive expertise in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Dr. Alsharif qualified from the University of Bristol in 1996 and holds a master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath. She has been the Bath City Football Club Doctor since 2002 and has provided medical support to amateur athletic clubs, boxing clubs, and MMA competitors.

Dr. Alsharif specialises in musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, illness and injury prevention, diagnosis, and management through to return-to-play rehabilitation. Alongside her clinical roles, she holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Genetics, focusing on the genetics and biochemistry of fitness and physical performance, particularly nutrigenomics and epigenetics.
